Whether you need a sitter to accompany you on a trip, a sitter for your vacation rental, or someone to help your family enjoy a safe and meaningful time while you’re at work or visiting, I’ll be happy to care for your children. Based in Kyoto, I offer services that include accompanying you to tourist spots, sharing insider tips on the local area, and providing care that draws on my experience in childcare.

Requests may be declined depending on the travel time required.
Travel expenses are paid by the client, and travel time is charged at the standard hourly rate.
Services outside these prefectures, including sitters accompanying clients on trips, may also be available upon request.

Born and raised in Kyoto; the youngest of three sisters.
I love Kyoto.
English wasn’t my strongest subject at school, and I never imagined it would become such an important part of my life.
Now, I speak English confidently and use it every day, both in my work and in my personal life.

Graduated from the Department of Childcare at Heian Jogakuin University Junior College.
Obtained childcare worker and kindergarten teacher certifications.

Worked as a kindergarten teacher for 5 years
Although I stepped away from childcare for a time, I continued to work with children part-time

Moved to France for 3 years
Chose to study English instead of French

Returned to Japan
Took a job involving English, but wanting to work with children, I joined an international school
Have experience as a homeroom teacher and department head

I am currently working as an English-speaking nanny for foreign tourists and children of mixed heritage.
I have experience caring for children ranging from 5 months old to 10 years old.
